Delete your data
Argentine Law 25,326 — right to erasure
You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it. No forms, no runaround: one email is enough.
First: take your data with you
Deletion cannot be undone. From the Database section you can download everything as Excel, CSV or PDF: customers, sales, stock, finances, bookings. Do that first — afterwards there is nowhere to recover it from.
How to ask
Email privacidad@startyourbusiness.app from the same address you use to sign in to SYB. That is all we need — you do not have to explain why.
We require it to come from your own address for a simple reason: it is the only thing that tells us it is really you. A request from any other address is not processed — if anyone could wipe your account just by sending an email, this would be a hole, not a safeguard.
What we delete
- Your account and sign-in details.
- All your businesses: questionnaires, reports, roadmap.
- Everything you stored: customers, sales, stock, finances, bookings, tasks, campaigns.
- Your copilot conversations.
- The link to your Meta ad account, if you had connected one. The data stays in Meta — you manage that from their side.
What we do NOT delete, and why
Billing records. Tax law requires us to keep them even after you leave. They are receipts of what you paid, not your business data.
How long it takes
We confirm we received the request within 24 business hours, and the deletion is done within 30 calendar days, the term set by Argentine Law 25,326.
If you just want to stop paying
That is a different thing and needs no deletion: cancel renewal from Billing and your data stays where it is, in case you come back.
